Lasix Lasix (otherwise referred to as Furosemide) is an effective FDA approved diuretic used in patients with excessive accumulation of bodily fluids. The reason for such conditions can be progressive diseases of the liver, characterized by death of liver cells, irreversible fibrosis, etc.: caused by inadequate diet, excessive alcohol, chronic infection, etc. as well as edema and similar conditions. The mechanisms of Lasix can be described as salt absorption which further helps to avoid producing fluids in the kidney tubules.

Keep in mind that as Lasix is a very potential diuretic it may cause inconveniences connected with frequent urination during the nighttime, therefore it is recommended to take the drug in the first part of the day. Prozac is an oral medicine. Wash the pill down with sufficient quantity of water. Do not break up the dosing schedule even if you start feeling better. Do not take more than one dose of Lasix during 24 hours even if you forget to take the tablet in the usual course.
